Chrysler: New 200 Convertible

Chrysler released photos of the 2011 200 convertible, which is a reworked version of the Sebring, and is focusing on its fit and finish, standard features, safety and value. For years the Sebring was the rare convertible with the practicality of four seats, a large trunk and a price starting under $30,000. But it never completely shook its dowdy economy-car image.

Like the Sebring, the 200 will be available with a steel retractable hard top or a cloth soft top, both of which can be dropped with the push of a key-fob button. A new interior includes an optional media center with a voice-command system, Sirius satellite radio with Travel Link, a real-time information service. The company says it also improved the car’s ride and handling by retuning or redesigning almost every part of the suspension.
